Jolene Martin is a television personality, anchor, MC and businesswoman. Best known for being the current host of South Africa’s version of the international lottery game show Powerball. She has graced our screens for over 17 years, since the birth of her career as a ‘child presenter’ in Cape Town. She honed her skills as a sitcom actress, working with some of the countries finest producers and directors. Jolene’s celebrated live television skills are highly sought after at corporate and social events across the country and abroad. This is evident in her international bookings as director of ceremonies at the South African High Commission Celebratory Event in Singapore, the United Nations New Years celebration in Ethiopia and the Shaka Franklin Foundation Gala in Denver Colorado. Her experience in emceeing corporate events for numerous blue chip companies is extensive.
Most recently she acted as MC for the South African Reserve Bank ‘s 90th Anniversary and the MTN Africa/Middle East Yellow Stars Awards gala event. Jolene has 6 years under her belt as a channel anchor for a leading banking brand. This platform has seen her broadcast across continents. She is building a strong a career as a television producer whilst being profoundly involved in philanthropic endeavors. She sits on the board of The Eldorado Women’s Forum, which is aimed at assisting victims of abuse and human trafficking.
